Desperately Seeking Susan

Turns out choosing a movie based solely on watching the associated music video doesn't work out very well. This week we watch 1985's Desperately Seeking Susan starring Madonna, Rosanna Arquette, Aidan Quinn, Mark Blum and Laurie Metcalf. While the movie isn't the best, the fashion sure is... bring back the bedazzled fold down bootie! After you listen to this week's episode be sure to watch Madonna's Into the Groove video, which basically tells you the whole story, only quicker and with less foolishness.

Who knew? A movie about two men dragging a dead guy around for the weekend isn't for everyone. Two people brought together by chance who ended up becoming besties... sound familiar? Yes, I am talking about Emily and me, but also about the two Coreys - the focus of this week's Confidently Controversial podcast.
