Listen Roald Dahl, we appreciate your valiant attempts to keep kids safe by teaching them a lesson, but did you have to do it with so much terror, scalp itch and villainization of chubby kids?  I'll wait... Guys, this week, we watched 1990's The Witches and while Angelica Huston is an icon who should be worshipped until end times, this film was just too manic for our middle-aged brains. We've said it before and we will say it again, our childhood was wild. Happy Spooky Season, y'all.
